I know a lot of gamers out there shun fileplanet cause you have to pay for what "should" be free. IE, super fast blazingly fast downloads and queueless waits. Well yeah, that's great and yeah this is starting to sound like an add innit?
Well apparently when you sub to fileplanet they give you some of those "hitpoint" thingies. I have been a subscriber for four two, maybe three years now and didn't realize this until just now. So I have like, 1500 hit points wooow. Too bad all the games you can download are either old as hell, not good, or both. Or you can waste your hard earned points on that Girls of Gaming CRAP. I did get one, what a total ripoff. Not a single damn picture was worthy of ye olde' spank bank. W/e.
What I did download was GUN, and X2: The Threat. GUN I have yet to play but it looked cool (amazing I haven't played it and it's been out since '05 I think). And X2, which I have played demos for in the past. X2 is probly the best game on there IMO. The depth and accomplishment from that game is awesome, it's almost like playing a single player MMO, if you can keep in mind that you have more control than you ever would in anything else.
I played EvE:Online for about a year and can tell you that it sucks compared to X2, even though X2 is a single player game. I won't get started on how horrible EvE is, I'll save that for a later post.
So I'm off to play GUN, and we'll see how it turns out later on.
Here's hoping for the best - Dawg.
